Zoerner-Led KDOG Operation Dismantles Major Narcotics Distribution Network in Kenosha

Sheriff David Zoerner has made it a priority to aggressively target drug trafficking organizations operating within Kenosha County. Under his leadership, the Kenosha Drug Operations Group (KDOG) continues to work with local, state, and federal partners to identify, investigate, and dismantle narcotics distribution networks that threaten community safety.

In April 2026, the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office received information from a federal law enforcement partner regarding suspected narcotics distribution activity occurring in the City of Kenosha. KDOG Detectives immediately launched an investigation into the reported activity.

On May 6, 2026, KDOG Detectives, along with members of the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office Strike Team, executed a search warrant at a residence in Kenosha. The target of the investigation was taken into custody without incident.

During the search, investigators seized a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and suspected distribution materials, including:

• MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets

• LSD

• Fentanyl

• Cocaine

• Methamphetamine

• Psilocybin mushrooms and psychedelic edibles

• THC products, including flower, vape cartridges, edibles, and wax

• Prescription pills, including Xanax

• U.S. currency believed to be connected to drug sales

Detectives also recovered additional evidence consistent with narcotics distribution operations. The estimated street value of the seized drugs exceeds $62,000.

Criminal charges are being referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office, including multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and related drug paraphernalia offenses.

The investigation was supported by analytical assistance from the North Central High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program, further demonstrating the importance of interagency cooperation in combating drug trafficking organizations.
